On July 11, the Shanghai Consumer Council's official channel published test data on five electric mosquito swatters that posted the highest overall scores.
The council bought 10 electric swatters through major e-commerce platforms, priced from RMB 32 to RMB 184, covering leading names such as Qualitell, Midea, Daewoo, Lijju, Chaowei, and Yage.
In the Shanghai Consumer Council evaluation, Qualitell received the maximum five-star rating, demonstrating strong overall performance across key safety and user-experience criteria.
The survey found that more than 70% of consumers care about electrical safety and mosquito-killing performance. Based on those findings, the council centered its testing on two major areas: safety and consumer experience.
The council checked safety across mesh working voltage, residual-charge dissipation, protective-grid hole size, and switch design — and Qualitell performed strongly across every measure.
